What You Need:

• 11½” x 11½” cream tonal, background
• 2½” x 8” tan print, ground under appliquéd bird
• 11 (5” x 5”) squares assorted coordinating prints, applique
• 40 (2½” x 5”) rectangles, assorted coordinating prints, hexagons
• Scraps of yarn dyed fabrics, hexagons
• 5” x WOF tan yarn dyed fabric, outer wall
• 5” x WOF aqua tonal print, inner wall lining
• 11” x 11” aqua floral print, lid lining
• 12” x ½ WOF aqua tonal print, lining of base and bias
• Embroidery floss, I used Valdani #8103 withered mulberry, #0578 primitive blue, #P5 tarnished gold, #0126 old cottage garden, #575 crispy leaf, #078 aged wine, #0154 dark antique gold, #512 chimney dust, #0178 tea, #P8 old rose, #P10 antique violet, #0511 black sea and #JP12 seaside
• 36” double ended zipper, I used a ‘Make a Zipper’ and cut to desired length
• 120 (approx.) 1/2” pre-cut paper hexagon liners
