2023 will see The Rural Stitch Co present a number of offerings that will hopefully spark joy and motivate our quilting and/or cross stitch community to undertake many new projects (or maybe finish a few old ones!)
I have created a list of activities/products that we plan to undertake or share with you over the course of the year including:
- Conducting workshops at The Rural Stitch Co's home base to teach people the basics of sewing and quilting
- Highlighting what to do with new fabric lines by making model quilts for our social media feeds and bricks and mortar shop. An example of this is our featured image, the newly finished Sweet Pea Quilt by Chelsi Stratton (https://www.etsy.com/market/chelsi_stratton_designs) featuring the Sherri and Chelsi fabric line Emma.
- Advent countdown boxes for cross stitching and quilting
- Fabric and cross stitch quarterly subscription clubs
- Selling kits (consisting of the pattern, templates and fabric) for an upcoming Block of the Month (BOM) program (called Burrows and Boughs) using Jen Kingwell's new fabric line Greenstone, commencing in the middle of the year.
- Keeping you updated with quilting and cross stitch projects being undertaken in our workrooms, including the Temperature Quilt I mentioned in the last blog post.
- We also plan to have a monthly newsletter keeping you abreast of the latest arrivals in store and what will be coming soon, additionally where The Rural Stitch Co shop may be 'popping up' into the future. So please provide your email address when you visit our webpage.
